a long time ago
how things have changed..it seemed so long ago..the time we were still good friends. but things change with time, and time rushes by, leaving so many, so many memories behind. people change, this i know, so was it them, or me? perhaps both.. they are so alien to me now, i wonder if i ever knew them in the first place..we were too different to begin with i guess..
and yet so many things bother me- the shadows of dreams, and the memories of a time long past..

Sigh... Big sigh... I have been filled with disappointment of varying degrees for all the science project competitions i took part in. The most recent being A*TS... I could have prepared for it better, but i did not. Then again, the nature of my project, too lousy... I would have wanted to win something, anything, but sigh... Maybe i expected too much, and when i don't get it, it just racks me inside out... Big Big SIGH

Got back chem today. Pissed because i did worse than what i want, pissed because i know the mistakes i make, pissed because i know i deserve it...
To look at the bright side of things, i watched v for vendetta! It is truly a wonderful piece of art. Very thought provoking, especially with issues regarding politics and the idea of heroism. To be a hero isn't just doing what You think is right. If it was so simple, life would no longer be worth living. I liked the language alot, though im not exactly a lit person. The movie is very cool is the sense, it brings you off track and back again so skilfully, you have to praise it over and over again. Eg, how Evey (Natalie) was made a prisoner by V himself... Of course, there are critics about how the movie potrayed V wrongly etc. Well, i don't care :p

14 : Xabi Alonso
I have always maintained that Xabi Alonso is a great player. In the 203rd Merseyside derby Steven Gerrard disappointed us all by getting sent off just 18 minutes into the match but Alonso stood up and took the responsibility of running the midfield and controlling the game. He looked world class, being the centre of all of Liverpool's attacks as well as defending brilliantly when he was required to. He was practically all over the place! Fantastic stuff from the Spanish midfielder! His corners and free-kicks were wicked and just before half time his corner forced an own goal from Phil Neville. Luis Garcia then scored with a fabulous lob within the first five minutes of the second half before Tim Cahill headed one back for Everton. Xabi then got Andy van der Meyde sent off for elbowing him in the face... Van der Meyde only played for about 1 minute as a substitute before he got sent off... I think he set a new Premiership record : The fastest sending off for a substitute... He only touched the ball once! Kewell then scored a magnificent goal for Liverpool, swerving the ball into the top corner of the goal to seal the victory with 15 minutes to spare. Alonso came close with a free kick earlier that looked to enter the goal via the top corner but it crashed off the bar instead... He also set up Hyypia for a goal with another brilliant free kick but Hyypia was denied his goal cos Crouch was offside... Linesman made a poor decision. This was arguably one of the most exciting matches I've ever watched... I didn't even notice the time flying by as the game carried on... The only downside to it was the crazy trigger-happy referee Phil Dowd... 10 yellow cards and 2 reds! But all in all, it was a great performance from Liverpool considering they had to play most of the match with 10 men against Everton's 11. Man of the Match for me was Xabi Alonso. Final score : 3-1 to Liverpool.

Argh, played for so damn long.... Haha, the techies game was sooo fun. Especially the two guys who somehow cheered me on just now. I WON!!! Bah, this is weird, cause i dunno where to blog my stuff on. Maybe i should blog the more sensitive stuff here? Or in my personal one... Hmmm

haha..today was fun..lanned dota and bf and watched dota..and let me tell you this..watching can be much more interesting than playing sometimes..just ask me and hy abt jon teo's techies =P hoped he saved the replay..lots of interesting kills =)

Freedom!
Yes! The common tests are finally over and I've been going non-stop with the playing since the end of chem which was like 5 o' clock yesterday... Dunno what Shuo Jie and Jon Teo did yesterday though... Was originally gonna watch "V for Vendetta" with those two but all the timeslots were 6 plus... Haha... Ended up playing soccer at the stone path outside the General Office... I scored though :P Fluke volley from defence that everyone missed... Abhi and David Matthews clashed heads and Abhi required 7 stiches *ouch* hope he gets well soon... David's skull is tough. :P Then came home and played Football Manager 2005 and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas until 5am! Got 3 hours of sleep then went lanning this morning... My first DotA training session... Shuo Jie says I improve very fast :P hahaha... Jon Teo is DAMN pro at DotA! Shuo Jie and I got more kills but he can win the whole game on his own la... When Shuo Jie and I watched him play with his classmates later he was using techies and he basically owned the whole opposition man... Sick freak! He's my DotA idol :P haha... too bad he forgot to send the replay to himself... yup then I left for RI to play soccer again... Now my legs ache... hahaha...
Found out later today that Liverpool were drawn with Chelsea for the FA cup semi-final... That's the fifth time they're meeting this season... Such a cliche. Liverpool haven't beaten Chelsea this season at all... Come to think of it they haven't REALLY beaten Chelsea under Rafael Benitez (except for that controversial goal by Luis Garcia in the Champions League semi-final second leg last season) Hopefully this time Liverpool can win cos if they do the biggest obstacle will be over with and then it's West Ham or Charlton or Middlesborough in the final.
Alrighty, gonna play some more then sleep... Tomorrow's another long day (but not of play unfortunately)... *sianz*
