Whee, talked to mr.tan about scholarship and overseas uni today. Apparently, one option he told us which i had never ever considered before was to go overseas uni for one year first, do super well and get the scholarship from that uni. Look at this way, if china scholars anre being gods and demi gods here in NUS, we might as well go overseas and be the gods and demi gods there. He even said how he survived first year chem uni with knowledge from J2. If overseas standards are like that, then i have nothing much to say. Is it true that caucasians are really getting complacent and no longer as superior as they think of themselves to be? (Generalisation) Another good example would be how a nobel laurette with a reasonable amount of botany knowledge isn't able to see the problem with Perry's project. Or many other scientist in the world for that matter. Ah, whatever, i am seriously considering this education option, since it is a bondless one and also allowing me to pursue what i like best. Physics. Risky yes, but if i get it.... HOHO Heres something cool, Mr tan did not know he got the psc scholarship until July, when everyone else was preparing to go to their respective uni already. When he realised he got it, it was like, he had no sats, no UK class thing, no uni to go to! Damn interesting story!
My mood today good. Considering how things are progressing. Ok, summary. She will celebrate his bdae today. If everything goes well, i will have mixed feelings. If not, i will have mixed feelings too. It really depends if i am selfish or selfless... But anyway, this is making me feel rather uneasy. Only a few days ago, i almost said this *If only you were not attached...* Almost... I need to contain myself...
