Just when things seem to be going just right, everything is nicely progressing, you think you are getting somewhere... Then reality hits you in the face.
Sound familiar? If not, you've led a blessed life.
The same thing has happened over and over again... The same impending doom... Yet I blindly walk into the storm. Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong... That has not proven to be false for me yet.
It doesn't pay to be optimistic. The more you raise your hopes, the harder you will fall when they're not met. I've said this many times before. Maybe it's got something to do with my personality. The chase to be perfect. The determination to succeed in everything I try. Yet success, for me, always comes with a clause: it is never perfect. You work for 10 As, you get a B in your results cert. You know you can get a gold for NAPFA, but one of your stations makes you get a silver. You know that kind of thing? In the end, you can only think of what might have been, and ponder what you did wrong, and what you should have done. But eventually, you have to let go and forget about it.
Life sucks.
